What to Bring On Your Vacation to St. Simons Island Georgia
You’ve been planning your beach vacation and your departure is rapidly approaching, meaning it’s time to start thinking of the thing you dread most – packing. Here are a few tips to ensure you don’t forget a thing!
Island living is casual living, so bathing suits, tee shirts, shorts and flip flops will be what you wear the most, but you might want to bring some slightly dressy clothes in case you are planning a night out on the town. We also suggest a sweater or jacket; the beach can be chilly after the sun goes down during the spring and fall seasons! If you have sensitivities to certain products, bring your own sundries (Toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, soap, etc.) Most things can be bought on the island in case you do forget something!
Beach Day Necessities
Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen top our list of things you might want to bring for your beach days. If you have the room, your kids will appreciate buckets and shovels for building the ultimate sand castle.
Electronics and Leisure
The advent of tablets, smartphones and MP3 players have been every vacationers savior, so plan on packing those and any chargers that may be needed. If you have a low pixel amount on your smartphone, we recommend a camera. You are going to want to take pictures of the scenery, the sunsets, and each other having a great time on your St. Simons Island vacation; don’t forget to bring an extra memory card!
We’ve provided a checklist that include the items mentioned here and quite a few others, but the most important thing to remember is your sense of fun and the ability to relax. Now hurry up and start packing, it’s almost time to leave for the beach!
